the traditional tea ceremony was a memorable welcome, complementing our comfortable tatami-mat sleeping arrangements near the temple. the public bath on the first floor offered a relaxing experience.
The noise level at night disturbed our sleep on some occasions.

We loved our stay at this hotel! The room was spacious and clean, with hot water and ample bedding provided. The hotel facilities were great, including a public bath that was often empty and a cozy dining area where we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ensuring that our beds were made, towels were changed, and tea was provided.
Nothing to dislike.

This charming traditional hotel provided us with a romantic escape we'll never forget. The private bathroom and shower were definitely a plus, as well as the beautiful Japanese cuisine served for breakfast. A great advantage was the informative and helpful staff, who provided useful information about the facilities and the surrounding area. The hotel's location was perfect for exploring the city's best attractions and restaurants, all just a few steps away.
We did experience a few downsides during our stay, including the outdated facilities and the noise that easily travelled through the walls. The lack of privacy was a bit disappointing, as other guests were not always respectful of the quiet hours.

The new year's breakfast was fantastic, with a great selection of Japanese cuisine to choose from. the location was convenient; it was just a short walk from the train station and close to a bus stop.
The room was very small and cramped, and the futon bed was uncomfortable. the bathroom was outdated, with poor ventilation, and had a strange smell.
